Coyote Ridge Golf Club is a Public, 18 hole golf course located in Carrollton, Texas.
Coyote Ridge golf course first opened for play in 1999. The par-71 course was designed by George Williams.
In 2007 the course completed a $7.0 Million renovation including the opening of a new 21,000 sq. ft. clubhouse. Renovations included white bunker sand, updated irrigation, and over 400 new trees throughout the course.
The front nine has water coming into play on six holes. The back nine formerly a gravel quarry borders the Trinity River. Coyote Creek meanders throughout the back nine creating a need for shot-making finesse. Carts are mandatory on weekends.
Par for the course is 71. From the back tees, the course plays to 6,795 yards. From the forward tees, the course measures 4,995 yards. The longest hole on the course is # 10, a par-5 that plays to 590 yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 7, a par-3 that plays to 160 yards from the back tees.
Watch out for # 9, a 410 yard par-4 challenge and the #1 handicap hole on the course. The easiest hole at Coyote Ridge Golf Club is # 14, a 210 yard par-3.

Not bad for the price. Pace was real slow.

A challenging layout. Good Clubhouse. Good pro staff

Holes #9 and #10 are especially difficult. The most difficult 9 is the back 9. Course is in nice shape. Pace of play was slow. 5.5 hours is a death march.

Drove 1 hour to play Coyote Ridge on Avid Golfer coupon - $25.xx a steal!! Regular rate would have been considerably pricey for me. Nevertheless, great golf course - excellent greens, sand traps, tee boxes, etc. Friendly and professional staff - beverage girl a sweetheart. Way too many houses/development on the course for my taste, but the course does keep you occupied. Odd finish with the final 3 holes - all short part fours. Will play again, but will use Avid Golfer / Ideal Golfer rates.
